ITINERARY:

FIRST DAY: IN GROUP: RECEPTION AT THE BUS STATION.

Reception at the bus station and accommodation at KAARO HOTEL or similar https://kaarohoteles.com/kaarohotelbuho/ + buffet breakfast.

SECOND DAY: IN GROUP: UROS ISLANDS – SILLUSTANI CHULLPAS - PUNO

Pick-up from your hotel between 08:45h. to 09:00h. Then, we head to the floating islands of Uros, located within the bay of Lake Titicaca. "URUS" was the name of a very particular ethnic group that coexisted on Lake Titicaca with civilizations preceding the Aymara nations and the Incas. After visiting the islands, we return at 12:15h. to the port of Puno and transfer to the hotel.

In the afternoon, we will visit the Sillustani Chullpas, pick-up from the hotel between 13:45h. to 14:00h. Sillustani is located 37 km from Puno and is known for its gigantic "chullpas" (stone towers) built by the Collas and Incas to bury their dead. Then, transfer to our hotel.

THIRD DAY: IN GROUP: PUNO - ROUTE OF THE SUN – CUSCO.

This tour has a duration of 10 hours. It is the most entertaining, safe, and comfortable way to travel by bus from Puno to Cusco, covering the Route of the Sun, charming and mysterious places from our Inca past. We depart from Puno at 06:45h. We will visit: The lithic museum of Pukara, the La Raya pass, the Raqchi archaeological complex, and the colonial church of Andahuaylillas. Arrival in Cusco at 17:00h.
