FULL TITICACA FROM CUSCO / 5D4N

With this 5-day, 4-night tourist package from Great Trip World, we will depart from the city of Cusco, traveling the Route of the Sun to the city of Puno. There, we will visit the Uros Islands, Amantani, and Taquile located on the Peruvian side of Lake Titicaca. Later, we will visit the Island of the Sun on the Bolivian side of Lake Titicaca before returning to Puno and doing a City tour.

ITINERARY:

FIRST DAY: IN GROUP: CUSCO-ANDAHUAYLILLAS-RAQCHI-SICUANI-LA RAYA-PUKARA-PUNO.

This is the most entertaining, safe, and comfortable way to travel by bus from Cusco to Puno, traveling through the Route of the Sun, charming and mysterious places from our Inca past. Departure from Cusco at 06:45h. We will visit: the colonial church of Andahuaylillas, the archaeological complex of Raqchi, Sicuani (buffet lunch), La Raya, and the lithic museum of Pukara. Arrival in Puno at 17:00h. and transfer to the hotel.

SECOND DAY: IN GROUP: UROS ISLANDS – AMANTANI.

On this day, we will depart from your hotel between 07:45h. and 08:00h. After 25 minutes, we will reach the Uros, learn about their customs and culture. We will continue our journey to the Island of Amantani, where the population will welcome us and accommodate us with a family. In the afternoon, we will have a walk to the Pachatata or Pachamama temple. At night, the family will give us a special welcome reception with a local music and dance show.

THIRD DAY: IN GROUP: AMANTANI ISLAND – TAQUILE - PUNO.

After breakfast, we will continue our journey with the same boat to the Island of Taquile. Then, we will walk for 1 hour to visit the city, the handmade crafts center, and the Taquile Museum. After lunch at a local restaurant, we will return to the port of Puno at 15:45h. and transfer to your hotel.

FOURTH DAY: IN GROUP: PUNO – COPACABANA – ISLAND OF THE SUN – PUNO.

06:50h. – 07:15h. Pick-up from your hotel and depart to Copacabana (2 and a half hours of travel). We reach the KASANI border (document verification) and continue our journey to the sanctuary of Copacabana. Later, we will visit the Island of the Sun, where the archaeological remains of Pilkokaina - Inca temple are located. Then, we will descend to the Fountain of Youth and the Incaic garden. Return to Puno: 21:00h. and transfer to the hotel.

FIFTH DAY: PRIVATE: PUNO – CITY TOUR

Pick-up from your hotel at 08:00h. in private transportation. We will visit the Lake Titicaca Museum, which holds incredible secrets, then Pino Park, the Coca Museum, Carlos Dreyer Museum, the cathedral, and finally the viewpoint of Cerrito de Huajsapata. Transfer to your hotel at 11:00h. At the indicated time, transfer to the bus station or airport.
