ITINERARY:

PUMA UTA VIEWPOINT

The attraction features a stone monument representing a Puma, a symbol of the viewpoint as a vigilant animal related to the protection of the Andes. It is built over a water source symbolizing Lake Titicaca. From this viewpoint, you can see the city of Puno and Lake Titicaca.

DEUSTUA ARCH

A historical monument built under the direction of General Alejandro Deustua, in honor of the memory of Peruvians who fought in the battles of Junín and Ayacucho.

HUJASAPATA HILL VIEWPOINT

With an altitude of 45 m and natural limestone, you get a complete panorama of Puno and Lake Titicaca. It is said that there are underground caves with the Koricancha Temple from Cusco.

PUNO CATHEDRAL

Built in the 17th century and with the rank of a minor basilica. The façade was sculpted by Simón de Asto. The Puno Cathedral was built on the Devil's Fence and was completed on May 25, 1757.

TITICACA LAKE MUSEUM:

Located at the port of Puno, its promoters began collecting antiques in 2010. This modest site holds incredible secrets of how the world's largest lake originated.

LAYKAKOTA MARKET OR NATIVE PHARMACY

The Laykakota market is located south of the city of Puno, a few steps from Dante Nava Park. Here, they offer all kinds of products, with a notable variety of medicinal plants.

BANCHERO PORT ROSSI

This port is named in honor of the largest producer and exporter of Peruvian fishmeal and oil, Luis Banchero Rossi. He was one of the main drivers of Peru's fishing industry.

CARLOS DREYER MUSEUM

This museum takes us through pre-Inca times to the colonial era. It has rooms dedicated to Andean cultures like Pukara, Tiahuanaco, and the Inca. It also provides an overview of life in the Spanish colony
