Visit this lagoon created by the melting of the snowy Humantay, at an altitude of 4100 m, with this 2 km hike, of medium high intensity, near an impressive Salkantay glacier.

RESTRICTIONS:

Not allowed for pregnant people, minimum age required 12 years, not suitable for people with heart problems, good physical condition and acclimatization to altitude.

ITINERARY:

04:30h - 05:05h. Pick up from your Hotel in the center, and then head towards Mollepata located in the exuberant valley of the Apurímac River, here we will have breakfast before resuming our path for 1 more hour, to the starting point of the Soraypampa trek (3900 masl). In Soraypampa we will begin our walk towards Humantay lake located at 4200mt / 13779 feet, after the ascent of approximately 1 hour and 30 min we will be able to appreciate this wonderful place full of magic and scenic splendor. The most daring can take a dip in the blue-green waters to cool off.

Later we will return to our camp to have our lunch with beautiful panoramic views of the snow-capped peaks and later transfer to the City of Cusco (near the main square) at approximately 18:00h.
