ISLANDS AND DEEP PUNO (Islands – Quechua and Aimara Route) / 5D4N

With this 5-day, 4-night tourist package from Great Trip World, we will visit the Uros Islands, Amantani, and Taquile located in Lake Titicaca. We will then explore various tourist locations in Puno known as the Quechua and Aymara routes, concluding our tour with a private transfer to the airport or bus terminal.

ITINERARY:

FIRST DAY: IN GROUP: UROS ISLANDS – AMANTANI.

On this day, we will depart from your hotel between 07:45h. and 08:00h. After 25 minutes, we will reach the Uros, learn about their customs and culture. We will continue our journey to the Island of Amantani, where the population will welcome us and accommodate us with a family. In the afternoon, we will have a walk to the Pachatata or Pachamama temple. At night, the family will give us a special welcome reception with a local music and dance show.

SECOND DAY: IN GROUP: ISLAND OF AMANTANI – TAQUILE - PUNO.

After breakfast, we will continue our journey with the same boat to the Island of Taquile. Then, we will walk for 1 hour to visit the city, the handmade crafts center, and the Taquile Museum. After lunch at a local restaurant, we will return to the port of Puno at 15:45h. and transfer to your hotel.

THIRD DAY: PRIVATE: PUNO - CHUCUITO – ARAMUMURO – JULI – PUNO.

Departure from your hotel at 07:00h. Bordering the lake, we head to JULI: Located 79km from the city of Puno. Also called the Little Rome of America for its four Churches. On the way, we will visit "Inca Uyo" or the Temple of Fertility. The next stop is Aramu Muru. "Inter-dimensional Door where we can observe the stone forest, the tired horse, and other formations. After taking our Box Lunch, we return to Puno at 17:00h.

FOURTH DAY: PRIVATE: PUNO – SILLUSTANI – LAMPA – PUKARA – AYAVIRI – TINAJANI - PUNO.

Departure from the hotel at 06:45h. We head to the Sillustani Chullpas, located 35 km from Puno. Funerary constructions from different eras can be observed. Then we move to Lampa or the Pink City, located 75 km from Puno. In its "Santiago" temple, there is an exact replica of Michelangelo's Pietà. Next, we go to Pukara to visit the oldest archaeological site in the area called "Kalasaya," a ceremonial center. Then we head to Ayaviri for our Kankacho (roast lamb) lunch and visit the Church of San Francisco de Asís. Finally, we will visit the Tinajani Canyon, which seems to be made by human hands in mud and sandstone, giving the impression of an enchanted citadel and is a mystical center of great positive energy. Return to Puno and arrival at your hotel at 19:00h.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport or bus terminal at the indicated time. In private service. This day includes: Private transfer to the Airport or bus station.
