The tour has confirmed daily departures and it is possible to reserve it up to 12 hours in advance. In any case, due to high demand, we recommend you make your reservation as far in advance as possible. We will visit the salt mines of Maras, where you can take incredible photographs of the landscape and buy the best souvenirs, and then visit the terraces of Moray.

ITINERARY:

We meet between 08:25h and 08:45h to leave for Maras, passing through an artisan community in Chinchero where we will see the treatment of llama wool, until our first destination: the mines of Maras (admission not included). The guide will explain the salt extraction process and we will have time to take pictures. Then, we will move to Moray, an agricultural laboratory that the Quechuas used to experiment with the crops of the different regions in which they were present. We will be able to walk the trails enabled to take pictures and feel the variation of climate according to the depth of the terraces, which have a difference of 150 m between the lowest and the highest point.

Once the 6 hour tour is complete, we will return to Cusco in our vehicle, arriving in the center of the city.

BTC: CUSCO TOURIST TICKET

The tourist ticket allows you access to the different places of interest in Cusco. You can buy it before the start of your activity, at Palacio Kusikancha, Calle Maruri 340, Cusco, to expedite the tickets and take advantage of the time visiting the places, or at the first site you visit within your itinerary. There are two types:

• Comprehensive tourist ticket:
  • Peruvians: S/. 70 per person.
  • Foreigners: S/. 130 per person.
• Partial tourist ticket:
  • Peruvians: S/. 40 per person.
  • Foreigners: S/. 70 per person.

Payment is always in cash, with soles.

The integral tourist ticket is valid for all places in the three circuits, in a period of 10 days, while the partial tourist ticket is valid for only one of the three circuits, in a period of one or two days, depending on the circuit .
